sub category rating field issue

Let's say i have a post in the category 'Movies', but this post is also in a sub categories "Romantic" and "Comedies". In the options of WFReview i have set to only display some rating field on post in the category of Movies. In the previous version of the plugin this works fine. but now it displays the rating fields 3 times. I suppose once for the cat Movies, once for Romantic and once for Comedies.

How can i resolve this?

Do you have the rating field set on all three categories? The new version will use all the rating fields of the parent categories if they are configured in a hierarchy. So if Romantic is a subcategory of Movies, but the post is only classified as Romantic, the ratings for the Movies category will appear.

I only have set the rating fields in the parent category.

What if the post is classified as Romantic and as Movies, does this mean that the rating fields should appear 2 times? because this is what i'm seeing now

No, if the rating is only on one category then it should only show once.

Are you seeing this in the ratings in the post or the comment form?

Nevermind. I was able to reproduce this bug that occurs when a post in two categories that have a parent/child relationship. We'll have this bug fixed and available in an update on Tuesday.
