Useful Widget for Version 2

just downloaded Version 2.
Nice upgrade!!!

I set up a test site with this and a database with States as the main category and Cities as the sub category.

Now, most templates will display ALL main and ALL subcategories - so with 50 states and thousands of cities/towns as subcategories, this is a giant list of categories to display on your sidebar.

I searched for a widget to collapse the subcategories and found one that seems to work great. if you are doing a directory like this, this is a must have widget

The includes Subcategories widget in v2 can help with this also.

No, I'm referring to after you include the subcategories.

once you include them all, they are all listed on the sidebar like this:

Alabama

* Abbeville
* Alabaster
* Albertville
* Alexander City
* Alexandria
* Aliceville
* Andalusia
* Anniston
* Arab
* Ardmore
* Athens
* Atmore
* Auburn
* Bay Minette
* Bayou La Batre
* Bessemer

* Bridgeport
* Brownsboro
* Brundidge
* Cahaba Heights
* Calera

This plugin will display on the Top level category and hide the subs until you click one of the top level categories.

Understood... our widget works roughly the same except the subcategories wont appear until you are on the parent category page.

my bad, I didn't see that this had it's own widgets.
