Assume you created your directory from an initial data load consisting of several hundred rows of data. Sometime later, you want to "refresh" the directory with new and updated information. When you upload the data, how does the system know which records are updates and which ones are new entries? Or will it just append the new import to the bottom of the list?
Currently, future imports are just appended to the system. So updating previously imported data is not supported. We will be investigating a solution to this for a future update but it would require that the source CSV has some sort of unique identity column.

Hmmm...I had a feeling that was the case. Perhaps a compound key like NAME+ADDRESS or NAME+PHONE would work. It wouldn't be 100% perfect but it would at least stop a bunch of duplicates.
We'll try to support both but in my mind, a unique column being added to the CSV file in Excel would be much more reliable than a composite.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Is this different now that you can delete a batch of data and reload a fresh one?
You could undo the previous import (which was available in v1) but you'd lose any comments and ratings you had on those posts.
Updating an import or refreshing the data is still not supported at this time.
