Generated Content Populating Uncategorized Only

As you can see at Gaithersburg Hotels (http://gaithersburg-hotel.com/) (seokthx) all posts are in uncategorized even though I've specified a different category, and I've changed the name and slug of the default cat.

It won't let me auto-gen ratings/comments either.

Is it possible that it's an error with the theme? Though that wouldn't explain the rating generation problem.

Have you swapped themes? What does it do on other themes?

I'm unclear if you imported posts. If you import, you need to specify either a category the posts will be made under or specify a column in the CSV that the posts will be categorized under.

Try some different themes and see what they do. Let me know what you come back with.

I changed themes, and they still show as uncategorized, even though I've renamed the name and slug of cat_ID=1.

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm uploading a very standard .CSV of florists from a yellowpages scraper to a category called florists and no matter what I've tried... and I've tried about 20 times... it puts them in the Uncategorized category.

Lil help would be appreciated.
