View Full Version : 2.8.1 CSV Upload Problem

I made the mistake of upgrading to 2.8.1 today and now when I try to do a CSV upload I get the error message "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page"

Is there a fix for this?

Not yet we are working on it and will post the fix once we have it probably within the next 24 hours.

Hi,

I'm actually out of the country burying my mom so its more that I have limited time to deal with the issue. I was able to replicate it I'm just trying to figure out the best way to fix it. I'll update once I do.

But to answer your question looks like the new security patch for WP2.8 to tighten access to admin pages is the issue and its not as straight forward a fix as I would like. But I'll get it done.

Just a quick update. I have a tentative fix. I'm just testing and if all is good then I'll create a new minor version and upload to the site for you to download.

OK I've done some quick and dirty testing. I hope to do more after my mom's funeral in the next 2 days or so. The link for the new version that should work just fine with WP 2.8.1 is:

You can download and extract the wfreview.php file and replace with the current one you have and all should be good. I also fixed a js path bug that some have seen. I wanted to put some enhancements in this version but don't have the time at the moment so those will have to wait a bit.

Please let me know if you any further issues. I'll deal with them in 2 days time.

I am very very sorry to hear about your mom. Thank you for the fix to this problem you didn't have to do that considering the circumstances.
