Do ALL pages on my Wordpress blog have ratings?

Hi Glenn,

Well each new post will not have any global ratings. The comments for each post will have the option to add a rating if none is entered then the post remains with no overall global rating. Once a comment is entered with a rating then it will trigger the global aggregated rating to appear (as well as the rating in the comment).

I have an authority domain with many text articles that already have comments and I would not want to convert into global ratings as it doesn't fit these non-product posts. However, I think that it would be good to populate my site with product information using this plugin and then adding some detailed, not auto-generated comments at the end. Is it possible to limit which posts use the plugin?

Yes, you can limit which posts use the plugin by putting all those posts in the same category. You would then add the rating fields to just that category.
