Hello!

I watched your vid, and your product seems solid, but I have a few questions.

Can I:

1. Easily allow users to sort reviews (within a catagory or all) by a certain rating? For instance, on your child care example, could the user to sort by top rated cleanliness for all providers in Oklahoma?

2. Say I have some reviews that fit into both category A and category B, can users browse by each category and have reviews that pertain to both, appear in both?

Thanks for your time!

Hey man!

1. You can sort categories by the following, but the user cannot change the sort, at least not yet, we'll look into what it would take to change this!

Sort posts by...
Chronological order (Wordpress default)
Overall rating (highest to lowest)
Overall rating (lowest to highest)
Most ratings (highest to lowest)

2. Posts can be tagged with more than one category (or all if you wish!) If a post has more than one category, each category's review fields will appear. The only 'gotcha' is if both categories share a rating field, both fields will appear, not consolidate.

We'll be adding "top rated" and "worst rated" options for categories in the coming releases/versions.

As a suggestion you could allow the user to choose which categories fall under the global setting with radio buttons. This way you set a global rating and then individual category rating names.

For example I really do not won't ratings for my articles but for the product reviews yes. Being able to choose which categories are considered global would allow flexibility with the rating structure across multiple categories.

Global actually means the rating field applies to all categories. Individual categories do have unique rating fields. Take a peek at the video on the frontpage of www.ReviewPluginForWordpress.com (http://www.ReviewPluginForWordpress.com) to see how it works!

Our software allows you to rate articles and rate review products the way it is! Take a peek at the video, I go through the whole process! Let me know if you have any questions!

Nick - Thanks for the response. I think user sort would be a great help (to your sales and my needs :D )

I'll keep checking back.

Cheers!

Hi,

I saw the video about the plug in and it looks great! I have a question related to importing data from .csv files.

I think it would be great if you can generate 532 or whatever number of posts from a database and set that a specified number of posts are automatically published every day. Lets say I want to automatically publish 5 posts each day without me having to log in to WordPress.
Is that already an option on your plug in? If not, can it be achieved in a combination with another plug in? If not, will you consider this option for further upgrades?

Sorry for all the questions
Thanks

I'd like a feature that will cloak URLs defined under links. For the meantime, do you know what's the best link cloak plugin out there that I can use with WFPReview. Thanks.

So I understand, you want the URL replacement in the blog post to show up similar to http://www.tinyurl.com/wz5kzk when the keyword/phrase is replaced by WFReview, then redirect to the URL listed in WFREviews keyword replacement list?

This can already be achieved with the plugin. You can choose to have the plugin randomly pick publishing dates from within a range (like 1/1/2009 to 1/1/2010) or you can add a column to your CSV file that contains a date for it to be published.

Hi Samba,

Our plugin comes with a lot more features that review engine does.

For one, we offer a mass import management feature, something no one else offers. Our review categories are a lot more scalable and template friendly. You aren't stuck heavily modifying your existing templates with our plugin.

The factor that should convince you to use our WFReview though, is our version 2, releasing this week. We will add google maps functionality and a whole lot more that's unannounced!

We're here for the long run, choosing us is choosing continued success in your AM business.
